RC10 WINS 2011 BEST FEATURE STORY
FIRST PLACE AWARD
Ernie Reis (L), RC10 SKYLINE NEWS Editor, and Jim Stolis (R), RC10 Vice President, accepted the 2011 First Place Award for Best Feature Story In A NYSUT Retiree Publication. The article was titled FROM YOUR PRESIDENT and was written by RC10 President Dave Golden. The New York State charter schools movement was the subject of the opinion/analysis piece. The award was presented by Maria Neira (CENTER), NYSUT Vice President, at the June 4, 2011 NYSUT Journalism Conference held at NYSUT headquarters in Latham. The award was made in the the category for retiree chapters having more 1000 members.
